Stained Glass of Pripyat

Stained Glass of Pripyat
A floor to ceiling work of stained glass art once occupied a wall inside the popular riverside Cafe Pripyat, or “the Dish” as it was affectionately known by locals. In its day before the disaster at Cherbnobyl, the cafe was a popular destination attracting many to its scenic locale for good drink, good food and good times. Many of the panels from the stained glass artwork have fallen out after three decades of neglect. Precious few remain, likely dreading the day when they join their colleagues on the dusty, debris laden floor of the Cafe.
